Three directions

Trade, driving school or everyday

Each leads to different vehicles, different questions and different sums. Pick one — we will sort out the rest.

Business & fleets

Swap batteries, not fuel stops

Delivery scooters that last a full shift, a film about one delivery day — and what that means per month against a combustion machine.

For driving schools

Training on electric

Five 45 km/h models for class AM, one model inside the B196 window — calculated against Anlage 7 FeV, with CoC proof before contract. Demo at our Mannheim showroom.

Private

Now speed decides

In Germany it is the licence, not the price, that decides how fast your vehicle may go. Which is why that is the second and last question here.

The 45 km/h class · L1e

The uncomplicated class

from €1,799

Class AM already sits inside your car licence: no extra exam, no course, no waiting. An insurance plate replaces registration, and there is no periodic roadworthiness test.

125 class · L3e-A1

Move with the traffic

from €2,999

On an open road you move with the traffic instead of braking at the edge of it. It requires licence class A1 — or, if you hold a car licence, German code 196.

125 class · the top

The step that keeps up

from €4,999

On the licence side nothing changes against the step below: A1 or German code 196. Even the fastest models here remain light motorcycles of class L3e-A1.

Cost of operation

Electricity costs cents. Petrol costs euros.

In city traffic it isn't the purchase price that decides — it's the running cost. We show you transparently what 100 kilometres really cost in electricity or fuel, and what you save over a year.

Vehicle tax

The e-scooter runs on an insurance plate — no annual vehicle tax. A petrol car pays roughly €100–250 a year depending on engine size and CO₂.

Maintenance & wear

Less wear: no engine oil, no spark plugs, no timing belt, fewer moving parts. On models with regenerative braking the brakes are spared too.

All figures conservative, electricity or fuel only · as of 2026.

Assumptions & sources
  • Electricity: €0.40/kWh — avg. German household rate (Destatis / BDEW 2025/26). On a commercial tariff (~€0.25/kWh) the e-scooter is cheaper still.
  • Petrol: €1.68/L — Super E10, ADAC full-year average 2025. Real 2026 prices were higher.
  • E-scooter: 3.5 kWh/100 km — year-round, from the wall (manufacturer figure ~2.7).
  • 125cc petrol scooter: 2.4 L/100 km — real-world (Spritmonitor).
  • Compact petrol car: 5.5 L/100 km — WLTP combined (real-world tends higher).

As of 2026. Deliberately conservative — the real saving is likely higher.
