Who Vmoto is — in the manufacturer's own words.
On its own site the company describes itself as a “Global leader in electric mobility solutions” and sorts its vehicles into three ranges: E-Moto, E-Scooter and E-Fleet. You will find exactly those three below — as a road machine, as a scooter and as a delivery vehicle.
About production the manufacturer writes: “Encompassing a sprawling 30,000 square meters in Nanjing, our state-of-the-art factory stands as the heart of innovation in electric motorcycles and mopeds.” It publishes no unit numbers or capacity figures there.
Vmoto is listed on the stock exchange and runs its investor centre under the ticker ASX:VMT. The same site names Pininfarina as a design partner, the rider Jorge Lorenzo, and the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, for which Vmoto is the official electric scooter supplier.

A first vehicle at 16
Up to 45 km/h, licence class AM is enough: from age 16 as a licence of its own, and automatically included in a car licence. The cheapest machine in the range, modest insurance, an insurance plate instead of registration.
The daily commute
Riding the same route every day does not call for top speed but for range and a battery you can carry up to your flat. This is the machine with the longest manufacturer range in the 45 km/h class.
The 125 class on a car licence
Above 45 km/h the 125 class begins. With a car licence, code 196 takes you there: training at a driving school, no exam. This is this brand's cheapest way into the class.
Country roads and longer rides
Once the route leaves town, sustained speed matters more than the sprint from the lights. This is the fastest machine in the range — and licence-wise it stays in the same class as the step below.

What people actually ask in the shop.
Is Super Soco the same as Vmoto?
It is the same house, but we only repeat what the manufacturer publishes itself: the official Super Soco shop runs on shop.vmotosoco.com, its imprint names Vmoto Soco Italy SRL, and the footer of that shop describes the company as “Vmoto is a global scooter manufacturing and distribution group.”
What matters in the shop: you get both brands from us, both are serviced in the same workshop, and several model names appear on both manufacturer sites.
Can I take the battery out and charge it in my flat?
For part of the range, explicitly yes — on these models the data sheet states a removable battery: Vmoto CU 72V, Vmoto CITI 74V, Vmoto CITI 60V, Vmoto VS3.
For the CU the manufacturer's model page speaks of a “removable 60V/24Ah battery and 72V/24Ah battery that can be easily recharged using a standard household outlet”. For every other model the answer is in the technical table on its own model page — we deliberately do not guess here.
How long does delivery take?
Whatever stands in the showroom you can take with you as soon as it is registered. For everything else we give you a firm date before you sign — a blanket number of weeks is deliberately not printed here, because it differs by model and colour.

Where is my Vmoto serviced and repaired?
In our own workshop at Augartenstraße 44 in Mannheim — the same building you buy the vehicle in. Servicing, brakes, tyres, lighting, battery and fault diagnosis.

Which licence do I need for which model?
Up to 45 km/h class AM is enough — and AM already sits inside a class B car licence, as it does in A1, A2 and A. Without a car licence, a standalone AM licence works from age 16.
Anything faster is the 125 class (L3e-A1): that takes A1, or code 196 if you hold a car licence. The line-up below states the rule for each class.
Can I test ride every model?
The machines in the showroom you ride straight away — by appointment, because the shop is staffed by appointment only. For models that are not standing there we tell you honestly when a test ride is possible instead of selling you a slot.
